Some of the locations sampled here include the Hawaiian island of Kauai, Fort Custer State Park near Battle Creek, rural Kalamazoo County, Al Sabo Land Preserve, Fisherman’s Island State Park, Texas Corners, Topsail Island (not in that order). All the wildflowers, insects, and berries (with two exceptions, the butterfly on my wife’s hand and the wild lady-slipper) were photographed in Al Sabo Land Preserve.
